Why Venom Basketball Matters
We are building something special—an inclusive environment where five-year-olds picking up a basketball for the first time train alongside ambitious teens, adult competitors, and veteran players who still love the thrill of the game.
Our programs are designed for every stage of the basketball journey:
Youth Programs (Ages 5–13)
Our Supermikrot program gives young kids a joyful, low-pressure introduction to the sport, with weekly practices at Länsimäen koulu and Tikkurilan lukio.
Competitive Pathways for Teens
Our U19 boys’ team competes nationally, offering serious players the chance to train multiple times a week, develop discipline, build leadership, and take part in elite competitions such as EYBL and camps abroad.
Adult Teams at Every Level
From men’s 3rd, 4th, and 5th division teams to our championship-winning SM-35 and SM-40 squads, we provide structured, competitive options for adults who still want to push their limits—or simply stay connected to a sport they love.

As a non-profit, our focus is impact—not revenue. We invest directly in the people of Vantaa by offering:
