In exciting news for Venom basketball, both the 4th and 5th division teams have secured promotion to higher divisions after an impressive season in Finland’s southern region league. This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and talent of both squads, and it’s a milestone worth celebrating! 

4th Division Triumphs

The 4th division team clinched their promotion on April 21, 2025, with a victory over HNMKY Taivallahti. Their win not only solidified their position in the top two of the division but also boosted their record to an outstanding 8-1, with only one game left in the season. The players showcased incredible teamwork and resilience throughout the season, proving to be a formidable force on the court. 

The team’s leaders and veterans deserve a round of applause for their strategic guidance which played a vital role in achieving this success. The players have not only developed their skills but also came together as a team, which gave them the confidence needed to battle through tough matches. Their passion for the game was infectious and we hope to see more of the same next year in the 3rd division.

5th Division Success

Meanwhile, the 5th division team has matched their success by finishing second in their division with an impressive record of 10-1.
