Teams are organized by age group, with options for children, teenagers, and adults. The U9 and U13 age groups, offer both competitive teams (practice + games) and hobby groups (practice only). Each of the other teams train regularly in Vantaa and participate in games during the season.
We offer basketball teams in Vantaa across different age groups. Teams are grouped by age and experience level. You can find children’s teams, youth teams, and adult teams below, along with basic information about how they train. Current teams include U9, U13, U19, and men’s teams.
U9 Mixed Basketball Team
The U9 group is for younger children starting basketball (kids aged 5-9 years old).
Our kids basketball team “Supermikrot,” is open to all kids between the ages of 5 and 9. We focus on teaching the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and supportive environment.
Our coaches are dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive experience for every child. We invite you and your kid(s) to join our kids basketball practice sessions in Vantaa, Finland. The first two weeks are free!
If you plan on joining our U9 practice, please remember to bring sports clothes, indoor shoes, and a water bottle for your child.

The U13 group is for younger children starting basketball (kids aged 9-13 years old).
Our kids basketball team “Mikrot,” is open to all kids between the ages of 9 and 13. We will not only teach your kids technical skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting, but also larger concepts like strategy and team work.

U19 Boys Basketball Team
Our U19 boys team is a dynamic and talented group of athletes who have a passion for the game. With dedication, hard work, and teamwork as their core values, this team has proven to be a force to be reckoned with on the court.
We are always on the lookout for dedicated young athletes who are ready to elevate their game and contribute to the collective success of the team. To join the Venom U19 boys team, players must have a willingness to learn and improve, and be under 19 years of age.

Men's Basketball Teams
In order to join one of our men’s teams, you must be at least 19 years old and have some experience playing competitive basketball. To join the Over 35s and Over 40s teams, you must be over the age of 35 and 40, respectively. We also require that you are committed to attending our practices and games, as we value teamwork and dedication.
